Beauty Wishlist..

Now that you have seen my

I'm bringing out the Beauty Wishlist too!

Autumn is the usual time of year for
darker lipsticks/nail polishes
and intense moisturizer's

Well not for me, as I like to mix things up a bit and not go with the normal.

:)

1.
Autumn will not put me off getting this gorgeous light pink shade in There She Goes

My fellow bloggers have been raving about Topshop lipstick for a while now and I have been putting it off for too long now!
You can see in my Lipstick Collection here I have a slight obsession with nudeish colours already and this will be adding to this problem I have.
Haha.

2.
BB Cream is one of my 2013
'Thank God I found this product'
This product appears as though it will give just a gentle glow under a normal foundation base and during the Autumn/Winter months we still need to keep the tanning up to date!

The 8 in 1 formula is a bit daunting at first but it includes:

1. Evens skin tone
2. Sheer tint
3. Boosts radiance
4. 16-hour moisturisation
5. Smoothes skin
6. Prolongs tan
7. SPF 15
8. Refreshing sensation

Now apart from the baffling last point this all sounds perfect to me. Can someone explain why a BB Cream will contain a refreshing sensation?

3.
 May I ask??

Who wouldn't want Essie in their Wishlist!
So many colours! I sometimes feel there too much to choose from!

Both colours I've picked are very pale and neutral tones but I think with the perfect outfit would look stunning!

I've only found one problem with the Essie polishes, they take forever to dry! And I generally end up smudging them :(

However they barely chip and have super staying power!

4.
I've been eying these brushes up for a while now!

Recently I have been using sponges for an even application but the amount of positive reviews & people using these are incredible.

I love that the two lovely ladies who created this brand were just like me and you once. They started out small and have grown they're own name/empire. Well Done Pixiwoo :)

5.
I am a little late on the band wagon with this product but every time I'm in town it either appears to be sold out or I have two grumpy boys hurrying me up.

I certainly prefer the Peach Kiss as it appears as though it would show a beautiful warm colour with that hint of cheekyness to it!

I also think it needs to be more known that the brand is Maybelline, all I've heard is 'Baby Lips' and was unsure which stand to look at to find them.
Or is it just me being silly??

 6.
This product for me is a bit of an indulgence, I love to wrap my hair & face in a mask and sit back and let it work it's magic.

After the Summer months of caking our faces in Sun Cream, Cosmetics and Tanning Lotion I think the Autumn time is a great moment to let your skin relax and clean out all the mess.

Next year I think I might also take a trip down to the
Covent Garden Spa and just chill for the day!

What are you buying especially for Autumn??

John Frieda, Frizz Ease Review

As some of you may know, I am a mother.
At 23, having a 6 year old, a job and a home to look after, as many mothers will know, I don't have a lot of time on my hands to care about my hair!

My general day will consist of a quick shower including the cheapest option of hair care. So for the last 2 years+ I have deprived my hair of moisture and love!

I asked myself:

My answer is yes please!

 May I introduce

the Frizz Ease range.

I am a skeptical person, with new products

However I can tell you, there is nothing to worry about.

This product makes your hair feel as beautiful as silk, with every application, and it holds the feel of it all day long.

This product also helps you use less, as the lathering agent is much more powerful than your normal non branded product,
so not only is it saving your hair but also saving your money!

On average women spend 40 minutes drying and styling our hair.

So caring for your ends are essential!

These pictures above were taken before I started using the products,
as you can see in the first one my hair has a natural flick to it

This irritates the hell out of me and I straighten until I can straighten no more!

With the Straight Fixation Smoothing Creme
it helps my hair stay fully in place after the first stoke with my straightening iron! It's heaven in a bottle.

I highly recommend this product if you hadn't yet guessed.

Go on! Give it a go!

Quick Ratings:

Packaging - 7/10
Consistency -10/10
 Durability - 9/10
Price - 8/10

Dainty Doll Review

Dainty Doll Green Concealer Review

Cost me a neat £1.50 on Amazon

not a bad price I thought and purchased it.

I've used a Green Concealer before from: Virgin Vie (which I think has ceased trading) And loved the concept of it!

It's not a highly sort for product on the High Street
however I believe it should be!

Green colour cancels out Redness in the skin.

Such as: Hyper-pigmentation
Rosacea
and
Broken Capillaries

I love the packaging, it's one of the reasons I bought it!

Matte Black with faint Golden Writing and the Cartoonesque Lady on the front.

It's very girly and feels exquisitely thought about.

Packaging - 10/10

The colour is lighter than I thought it may be.

However the whole branding for Dainty Doll is for
Very Fair skin tones.

The consistency has confused me a little

It has a slight clay feel to it.
And if you leave it too long it seems to dry up.

Consistency - 5/10

My Face with no Dainty Doll

A little redness on the face and chin areas.

My Face with Full Dainty Doll

Redness has gone and there is a much clearer complexion.

I have to admit, I wouldn't use this product on
spots or acne skin.

Only because it doesn't blend into the skin and unfortunately sticks on top.

Complexion - 8/10

Overall it is an OK product.

I'm not sure if I would purchase this again, even at the incredible price.

Let me know

if you guys have tried Green Concealer

and what type it was!

Leave me your links :)

Makeup Transformation!...

In life there will always be people

saying, makeup makes no difference to what you look like!

Excuse me!!

I admit they have a point, as in Beauty comes with Self Confidence and Each person is Beautiful in their own way.

But it can make a huge! HUGE! Difference!

Take my first picture...

Straight out of the shower...

Hair tangled&wet

Face shiny&red

SHOCK HORROR!

However I've taken a picture of each Makeup Stage and you can see the gradual difference a bit of makeup can make!

 A simple MUA BB Cream
&
Collection2000 Concealer

(most of the redness gone, and even skin tone)

A light coverage of Foundation

completely clears the imperfections.

Number 3 is not a good look!

However once blended in like Number 4

it starts to shape the face, and contour.

Number 5 is obviously not the look I'm going for!

I'm using the MUA ProBase Conceal and Highlight Kit.

Number 6 adds to the contouring by highlighting the perfect areas!

Adding Eye Makeup and Filling in the Brows

can make a real statement for your eyes.

I've only gone for the basic look.

Finishing off with Two coats of Mascara

and Lippy!

Now you tell me there isn't a difference!

A Memorable Throwback Thursday...

Today's Throwback Thursday is a little sentimental

this is a picture of Me and my cousin Emily.

On my 19th birthday,

at the local Chinese Restaurant,
with my two friends, Lara and James who I haven't seen in a long time.

This picture means a lot to me

when I was growing up, I never saw my Cousins and barely got to know them, as much as I would've liked.

Whereas now I know them a lot better and I've seen them more this year than possibly ever before!

Emily is now following her dream to travel
zoom zoom

and she is living in Australia, so now I miss her again :(

but she is having fun and I'm very happy for her.

I also miss my red hair!

:)

My Beauty Would You Rather...

I may as well, everyone else is doing it.

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

I would rather lose all my Palettes, simply because Eyeliner is by far my favourite makeup product. You can also cheat and use an Eyeliner as an eyeshadow! Plus I think Mascara can you make a look work and give you the polished/finished look!

2.)
Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

I would chop it off and donate to charity. I've only recently started growing my hair out again, so it wouldn't be too much for me to deal with!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

I prefer a pink cheek, although my preferences, change day to day. I think a pink looks slightly more natural, which I prefer.

4.) If you had £1000 to spend on anything, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Although I love makeup, I think I would rather spend it on clothes. Makeup can last you quite a while, whereas fashion is constantly changing and I certainly have a few outdated and outworn clothes.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

(Guardian)
I personally think this is disguisting. But I would have to say, Eyeliner as Lippy, only if the eyeliner had not been previously used on eyes!

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

MAC easily, as we don't have Sephora in the UK. I don't know what it's like.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

Eyeshadow, easily! Say a pinky eyeshadow, if you add a little Vaseline and you've got yourself a lip colour!

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I would love to wear summer clothes all year. But living in the freeze that is UK I must answer the opposite, wearing Winter Clothes in the summer! How ridiculous!

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Bright please! Dark nails can look very classy but a bright colour is fun :)!

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

I would give up a lip product, I love my eye products too much! Haha, I sound crazy!

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

In a messy bun, I love all the back combing and crazyness of it. I find a ponytail a little boring, especially if it's a special occasion.

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

Never you lipgloss, I have never found a lipgloss that isn't all gooey and sticks to your hair. Plus you've gotta love a painted nail!

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

I think I would shave them, as then you can pencil them in. I mean a sharpie!! What the hell is this question!

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Sorry nail polish but goodbye. I can live without you. Only for a while though!
